Rafting!

Have you ever kissed a fish? Let me start at the beginning. My class went on rafting fieldtrip. It started out at Cooper Landing on the Kenai River. Our raft started out going backwards, then the current pulled us around and we got going. When we hit the rapids it was sick. After the first rapid I was sad because I thought it was the only rapid. BOY WAS I WRONG!! Our captain was tricky, he would spin the boat around and slashed water on us. Our raft floated over a rocky sand bar and we saw 100,000 fish darting away from the boat. As we drifted through the canyon we experienced grade 3 rapids. It felt like the boat was going to flip. It was a little scary. A lot us got soaked! At lunch time Ethan kissed a spawned out salmon. We ended this fantastic trip on Skilak Lake beach.
